The Environmentally Friendly Vehicle (EFV) Conference is a biannual international conference. The earlier EFV conferences were held in Tokyo (in 2003), Birmingham (in 2005) and Dresden (in 2007). The objective of the EFV conference is to share the experiences with regard to ongoing measure for promoting or introducing environmentally friendly vehicles and also exchange the experiences in developing problem analysis of the legal and economic frameworks for the introduction of such vehicles and technology.
Fourth in the series, the forthcoming EFV conference would be organized from 23rd to 24th November 2009 at New Delhi, India by the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises along with Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Environments and Forest, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in association with the industry bodies – ACMA, ARAI, NATRIP, PETROFED, and SIAM. Parallel to this conference, an exposition is also planned to showcase the related technologies. |
