24th November 2009 10:00 hrs Gaseous Fuels Technology – Technology of Future Gaseous Fuels Technology like – Compressed Natural Gas, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Bio Gas, are considered as the fuels for providing mobility in the near to medium term. This session aims at addressing the options for providing sustainable mobility to the masses in both developing and developed countries. 11:30 hrs Future of electric vehicles The session aims to look at the electric vehicle technology options including the battery technologies for providing drivability and performance comparable to conventional vehicles.   Lunch Break

14:00 hrs Regulatory & Legislative Framework for EFVs The session aims to cover the regulatory and legal framework required for the introduction of EFVs in a country. The session would also cover the role of incentives in increasing the penetration of EFVs. Tea / Coffee Break

15:30 hrs Discussion on Industry and Government Collaboration for EFVs The panel discussion would aim at coming with recommendation on what could be considered as an EFV- taking a holistic view and a possible road map for the informal group on EFV.

16.30 Hrs Valedictory Session (Handing over of Baton)
